Delivery Methods

The manner in which the consumer receives your information will be critical to the success of your campaign. There are several different distribution methods available, the suitability of which will depend on the nature and objectives of your promotion. LDS can advise on the best method for your organisation.

Royal Mail

Coverable households 26 million. Every day the Royal Mail has up to 75,000 full time staff delivering leaflets/samples for LDS on a local, regional or national basis. We have reduced lead times and most importantly reduced cost due to the volume of work we place with Royal Mail. In most cases a 6-week lead-time is sufficient from initial optioning of postal sector areas through to commencement of distribution. This method of distribution is respected throughout the industry due to the extensive coverage and reliability of the regular distributions.

Team Distribution (Solus)

Coverable households 20 million. LDS’s national network of distributors, team leaders and backcheckers provide a robust delivery network throughout the UK. The Solus method offers the advertiser total flexibility right down to actual day of the week and of course Solus can reach areas where ‘Newshare’ free newspapers are not distributed. This premium service offers complete distribution flexibility along with maximum impact of delivering your message through each individual door. The Solus teams are rigorously backcheced by LDS or an independent backchecking company can be engaged. LDS operates its own bespoke distribution team which specialises in the Northwest and guarantees 98% coverage. The above mixture of control and procedures ensures that we have full distribution accountability.

Newshare

Coverable households 17.8 million. Newshare contains the ability to combine a highly competitive price with the flexibility to target precisely on a weekly basis to geographic or demographic markets across the country. LDS’s publisher/postal sector database includes our own recommended titles based on distribution efficiency supported by the VFD certification to ensure arrival through the right door. Distributions will typically be undertaken on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week leading into the weekend to ensure the maximum impact within the household to allow a large circulation and readership.

Direct Mail

LDS can offer a full Direct Mail service. This covers the collation of a specifically targeted database, insertion of the leaflet, addressing and posting the letter in a timely manner. There is no minimum quantity and high volumes can be accomodated on a daily baisis. Delivery of course in undertaken by Royal Mail alongside other addressed mail on that particular day.
